Thank you for a very powerful introduction to Alon\'s visit in North America and to the reality of Sderot.  I felt so strongly that your concern and compassion for him and the people of Israel, expressed a foundation which both of you share: namely the committment that we Jews are responsible for each other.  This is the lesson that each of us has to integrate and I thank you for your leadership.
